What’s happening on Hive this February – round up of features

Welcome to our round-up of all things happening on Hive this dreary cold and wintery February. There’s quite a bit happening on Hive this month, with lots of features and things you might want to check out and not miss. And here is the best place to see it all; rounded up here on our blog. And we do love things that are round. Like Moomins!

So here we go:MC-Beaton-AOTM-banner

Our Author of the Month for February 2015 is Scottish crime fiction writer, M.C.Beaton. Famous for creating the loveable Highlands-set Hamish Macbeth and the Cotswolds-set Agatha Raisin books, this month sees a brand new novel from Beaton, Death of a Liar, the new one in her Hamish Macbeth series.

And whilst we pay homage to established writers, never let it be said that we don’t showcase new talent too. Our Rising Writers for February consist of four new-and-upcoming authors you might like to check out; Paula Hawkins, Merryn Allingham, Philip Teir and Lucy Ribchester.

She’s prepared to lose everything. She knows what she’s doing. She’s out of control. She’s innocent. She’s guilty as sin. She’s living two lives. She might lose both…

Not to leave the kiddies out, our Children’s Book of the Month is Bad Magic by Pseudonymous Bosch.
